Alara dispatches 13th copper concentrate shipment

Alara Resources(ASX:AUQ) has dispatched the 13th copper concentrate shipment from its Al Wash-hi Majaza copper-gold mine in Oman in the Middle East. 

The shipment contains 1,461.6 wet metric tonnes of copper-gold concentrate, comprising 255 million tonnes of copper and 5.5kg of gold. 

Alara notes the previous shipment, which departed Sohar Port on 21 February 2025, totalled 1,276.7 wet metric tonnes comprising 205.3 million tonnes of copper and 4.9kg of gold.

The project achieved first production in Q1 2024 and has a processing rate of 1 million tonnes per year with an average annual concentrate production of 35,000 wet metric tonnes. 

Al Wash-hi Majaza is operated by Alara’s joint venture company Al Hadeetha Resources, as well as a privately held subsidiary Alara Oman Operations and Al Tasnim Infrastructure. Alara holds a 51% interest in the project. 

Alara Resources is an Australia-based precious and base metals producer and explorer focused on its portfolio of copper-gold projects in the Middle East.
