By: Dzair tube

Wesam Swelem, CEO of Delta, emphasized the importance of Algeria in his company’s investment strategy during an exclusive interview with Dzair Tube at the Algerian-Qatari Business Forum. This forum, held in parallel with the Algerian Products Exhibition in Doha, reflects the deepening strategic ties between the two countries and highlights their commitment to fostering long-term partnerships.

Swelem described the forum as a “great opportunity” to connect with Algerian investors and explore the extensive opportunities within the Algerian market. “We first entered the Algerian market in 2016, and since then, it has become an essential part of our business strategy, particularly in the oil and gas sector,” he stated. Over the years, Delta has achieved significant milestones in Algeria, contributing to the development of the energy sector while positioning itself as a key player in the region.

Looking ahead, Swelem expressed Delta’s ambition to deepen and broaden its investments in Algeria. He sees the country not only as a crucial market but also as a gateway to the entire Maghreb region. “Our goal is to expand our operations to serve not just Algeria but the wider North African region as well. The Algerian market is highly promising, offering numerous opportunities, especially in the oil and gas sector.”

As a company specializing in energy-related construction and infrastructure, Delta is keen on exploring opportunities in oil and gas construction projects. “We believe that with the right partnerships and meetings with Algerian business leaders and clients, we can achieve significant trade exchanges between the two countries,” Swelem noted.

He concluded by emphasizing Delta’s commitment to playing a key role in strengthening economic ties between Algeria and Qatar, using its expertise to foster greater cooperation in the energy sector and beyond. This reflects Delta’s dedication to maximizing the potential of the Algerian market while contributing to the broader economic integration of the region.
