Panoro Energy Expands Equatorial Guinea E&P Portfolio

This month, Panoro Energy brought one of its two infill wells at Ceiba field online and completed one infill well at the Okume Complex. Meanwhile, the company commenced drilling at the Akeng Deep infrastructure lead exploration well in Block S, offshore Equatorial Guinea.
Panoro Energy also signed a production sharing contract with the government on November 13 for offshore Block EG-23, increasing its stake in the block to 80%.
“We are delighted to further expand our presence in Equatorial Guinea,” stated John Hamilton, CEO of Panoro, adding “Block EG-23 is our second operated asset in country and aligns well with our infrastructure-led exploration and appraisal strategy, increasing our access to a large inventory of oil, gas and condensate discoveries, prospects and leads within tie back distance of existing production facilities.”
Panoro Energy estimates Block EG-23 to hold approximately 104 million barrels of oil and condensate and 215 billion cubic feet of gas resources in addition to seven existing hydrocarbon discoveries.
