Congolese energy company Tinda Energy has signed  an Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract with Chinese firm Complant to develop a 56 MW solar power plant in the Ignié Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the Republic Congo.

The agreement includes the construction of the solar facility, transmission lines and access roads. Negotiations with creditors will now commence, leading to contract finalizations and project execution planning.

The Ignié SEZ project aims to attract foreign investment, support small and medium-sized enterprises and foster economic development in the region.
