Middle East Energy 2025 Expands with Battery and eMobility Focus

The 49th edition of Middle East Energy (MEE) is set to be the largest yet, introducing new product sectors, conferences, and a dedicated Battery & eMobility segment when it returns to the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from April 7-9, 2025.Spanning 16 halls, the exhibition will feature an expanded lineup, including the debut of 'The Battery Show Middle East', marking a major step in addressing the region’s energy transition.
Under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, MEE 2025 will serve as a premier platform for collaboration, innovation, and sustainable energy advancements. Eng. Ahmed Al Kaabi, Assistant Undersecretary for Electricity, Water, and Future Energy Affairs at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, emphasized the event’s importance, stating that the Middle East Energy Exhibition is a strategic platform that unites industry leaders to explore the future of energy. He noted that the Ministry’s patronage reflects the UAE’s commitment to fostering innovation and accelerating the clean energy transition.
A key highlight of MEE 2025 is the introduction of The Battery Show Middle East, which will take over an entire hall to showcase cutting-edge battery technologies and solutions. More than 8,000 attendees are expected to engage with 500 top suppliers while discussing advancements in electric vehicle batteries, alternative energy storage, and electrification trends. The Battery Show Conference will dive into crucial topics, including advanced materials, sustainable battery manufacturing, and automotive electrification, providing a platform for industry leaders to exchange ideas and drive innovation.
The event will also feature an expanded knowledge program, doubling the number of CPD-accredited conferences from the previous edition. These sessions will bring together global experts, policymakers, and business leaders to discuss key industry challenges and opportunities. According to Mark Ring, Group Exhibition Director at Informa Markets, this expanded program will connect innovators, drive meaningful industry change, and showcase global market-leading solutions.
