Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, convened a high-level meeting with the Ministry’s undersecretaries, heads of holding companies, the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), and the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA), alongside CEOs from across the petroleum and mineral resources sectors. The meeting is part of a series of periodic reviews to assess the latest developments in sector activities from July 2024 to March 2025 and to outline priorities for the upcoming period.

The Minister emphasized that leaders from the Ministry, holding companies, and affiliated entities reviewed recent business developments and outlined future plans to enhance performance across their respective fields. The session fostered an environment for knowledge exchange, best practice sharing, and the promotion of a culture rooted in empowerment, collaboration, and integration—key components in advancing the Ministry’s strategic pillars and current priorities.

Badawi noted that this meeting will be held quarterly, and that upcoming meetings will provide an opportunity for heads of affiliated companies to review business developments and successful experiences of their companies, with the aim of exchanging expertise and achieving integration.
