Aurum Launches Environmental Study for Boundiali Gold Project in Ivory Coast

Gold exploration company Aurum Resources has commissioned an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) study for its Boundiali Gold Project in Ivory Cost.
The company has engaged local environmental and social specialist Envitech-CI to conduct the ESIA. The study will assess six gold deposits and prospects, as well as a central processing facility, across three of the four exploration concessions that make up the Boundiali project. This assessment is a critical part of the pre-feasibility work and is required to secure the mining license necessary for production.
Aurum aims to complete the pre-feasibility study by late 2025, while continuing exploration activities at Boundiali to identify additional resources.
In January 2025, the company announced a maiden JORC-compliant Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 1.59 million ounces of gold for the Boundiali project. Aurum plans to drill 100,000 meters in 2025, with plans to release two updated MREs and further define the resource.
