The 2024 bid round includes opportunities for production sharing contracts for the Le Grand M’Zaid, Ahara, Reggane II and Zerafa II projects and participation agreements for the Toual and Guern El Guessa projects. The deadline for bid submissions is April 15, 2025, which will be followed by the evaluation and awarding of bids.

Tender documents for each of the six perimeters available through the country’s bid round include a submission letter, draft attribution deed, draft hydrocarbon contract, template for the technical bid, evaluation scale report and conditioned data package. Additionally, access to the data packages – which will run from November 26, 2024, to April 1, 2025 – will consist of subsurface data including available wells, 2D and 3D seismic data and well reports.

The six opportunities span a cumulative perimeter size of 152,000km², supported by over 102,000-line km of 2D seismic data and more than 45,000 km² of seismic data.
